To keep our campus safe, all regular volunteers must complete the MVWSD Volunteer Badging Process before helping in classrooms, on campus, or during Off-site Learning Experiences (OLEs), especially if you plan to be a OLE Driver.
If you volunteer more than 32 hours per year (shared between all your students) on campus or join field trips, you are considered a regular volunteer and will need to be fingerprinted, background checked, and cleared through the district. See the flow chart below from the District Office for more information.
Obtain Form: Visit the Stevenson front office and ask Kass or Renae for the fingerprint request form. Fill it out and return it.
Fee Assistance: Indicate on the form if you need help with the $65-75 fee.
Submission: The form goes to the District Office, which will reach out for personal details (legal name, date of birth, etc.).
Live Scan Form: After providing details, receive a Live Scan form. Print it and take it to an authorized vendor (e.g., Mail All Center, 809 Cuesta Dr, Ste B, Mountain View).
ATI Number: After fingerprinting, you’ll get a form back with your ATI#—keep it for badge applications and annual renewals.
Access Training: Go to Mandated Reporter Training and select "General Volunteers."
Create Account: Click "Start Now," and remember your login details for future access.
Receive Certificate: Complete the course, save your certificate as it’s required for your badge application.
Complete Assessment: Have your doctor fill out the TB Risk Assessment Questionnaire.
Certificate: Save the “Certificate of Completion” for TB risk assessment/examination (valid for 3 years).
